| This firetruck was the first truck K.V.F.C. ever bought "new" when delivery was taken in 1941. It cost $3,300. These photos must have been taken around 1952, after the completion of the new, single bay Company 2 firehouse on Boonton Avenue in front of which the truck is parked. The truck is sporting a radio antenna, probably serving the first of the fire company's 2 way radios also purchased in that year. |
