NJ/NY/PA Area's new Buff Radio Group

The NJ/NY/PA Tri-State Area will be serviced by a new Fire “Buff”
radio group, the recently created Tri-State Public Safety Radio
Association, on the web at www.TSPSR.org or www.BuffGroup.
com
This Association will provide members the opportunity to both
transmit and receive via portable and mobile radios, emergency
incidents and share other relevant information related to the
Emergency Services field. This system will allow instant notification
of important information by allowing for both on and off scene
reporting of the incident.
At this point, the association is providing coverage to the following
Counties:
• Bucks County, PA
• Hunterdon County, NJ
• Mercer County, NJ
• Morris County, NJ
• Somerset County, NJ
• Warren County, NJ
There are plans underway to expand the coverage, within the first
quarter of 2008, to include most of New Jersey and parts of New
York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania.
System Administrator Greg Mattes promises a professional, but
user friendly, organization, where member input is highly
encouraged and has high hopes that the system will continue to
grow and expand into additional locations, filling the void left by lack
of coverage by existing groups or groups no longer in operation, as
well targeting new areas.
The Founders of this Association have been Firefighters, EMTs and
Past Chiefs for many years; we are listening to the feedback we
receive, and understand what our Membership wants in an
organization; professionalism, camaraderie, and attention to detail.
