The Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. was established in 1930 by a
group of concerned residents. Today a team of about 40 residents carries
on that duty. As it was then, it still is now run entirely by volunteers using
only donated funds. The fire company sends a once a year fund drive by
mail. We accompany this major fundraiser with smaller events throughout
the year such as running the concession stand at the July 4th fireworks,
and the annual Spring and Fall Pancake Breakfast. Please support us
whenever and however possible. We strive to provide the best fire
protection and rescue available anywhere. This takes a huge
commitment by our members in time, strength and effort to continually
train, maintain and upgrade our equipment and pay for operations. We
also need members, so stop by the firehouse almost any Monday night at
7:30pm to say hi, meet your neighbors, and see the apparatus.
